This Is The MV Agusta Brutale 800 America, Because Freedom

Back in the 1970s, Italian marque MV Agusta built a series of bikes called the America. For 2017, MV Agusta is bringing back the America name with the special edition Brutale 800 America, based on the in-line triple Brutale 800.
According to its press release, MV Agusta wanted the America to “match the exuberance of the country that bears its name, in a special livery.” We’re not sure what they mean by “exuberance,” but the release also mentions our “rich culture, individuality, patriotism, innovation and the United States flag” as influences, and we have to say, the bike does sort of represent a lot of American qualities. The America’s red, white and blue tank is accented with gold striping and a star motif.
The red, white and metallic blue color scheme is complemented with black and gold here and there, such as the gloss black front fender and gold stripes on the tank (complemented by gold stitching on the red seat). Other special touches include a star motif on the tank that’s reminiscent of the 1973 MV Agusta 750 S America, and an “America Special Edition” logo on the tail and radiator covers.
Production of the 2017 Brutale 800 America will be limited to just 50 units (to match the 50 states, of course). Each bike will be numbered and includes a framed certificate of authenticity. Other tha...
