Scorpion Yukon Jacket and Pants.
The Yukon line from Scorpion is a jacket and pants set crafted from its Exo-Dry waterproof and breathable three-layer laminate fabric. With no rain liner required, the garments can be cooler in a summer downpour, and allow riders to choose their own warmth layer for cooler times. Heavy 1680-denier nylon defends impact areas, and Scorpion?s Exo-Stitch safety seams reinforce the construction; critical junctures are bar tacked. Inside is a slinky polyester lining, with stronger taffeta fabric used in high-wear locations. Sewing quality is excellent throughout and the waterproofing held up to a SoCal hose test in lieu of real rain.
Weatherproof zippers abound for pockets and vents, though not all pockets are waterproof. Of the 10 jacket pockets available, I found the handwarmers, vest and key pockets the most useful. The Yukon pants hold another bushel of stuff in their cargo and zippered slash pockets, and the waistband hides a secret money pocket. Vents are also abundant, placed at forearms, shoulders, sides and back on the jacket, with a set of thigh and hip vents on each pants leg. With vent zippers open you?re about as cool as possible in a fully armored suit. Or button up, install the zip-on high collar (not shown) and let the weather take its best shot.
