Norton Motorcycles Announces New Headquarters

Norton Motorcycles Co. Limited is proud to announce its new global headquarters in Solihull, United Kingdom. The historic British brand?s new base of operations will house its design, engineering, purchasing, sales, marketing and support teams, in addition to its production team that is resuming manufacturing.
The move is part of a multi-million-pound investment by Norton?s new parent company, TVS Motor Company. The new facility is expected to boost the local economy with 50 high-quality jobs. Norton representatives stated that this is the most advanced manufacturing facility in its 122-year history.
Operations are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2021 and will start with resuming production of the Commando Classic, honoring commitments to customers that have placed deposits on these motorcycles. Production of the ultra-exclusive Norton V4SS superbike will continue as well.
Based out of Chennai, India, TVS Motor Company is the third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the Indian market. TVS purchased Norton Motorcycles Co. Limited in April 2020.

Norton Motorcycles was founded in 1898 and gained world renown due to its influential 650SS, Atlas, Commando, Dominator, Manx and Navigator models. The marque’s participation in the Isle of Man TT also contributed to early success.
