Insta360 Onboard Video with Kawasaki WorldSBK 2022
Official MO videographer Sean Matic’s Insta360 cameras have become part of every healthy MO video breakfast (Sean tested the Insta X2 here). When the Insta people reached out with some fantastic Insta360 footage of Jonathan Rea aboard his Kawasaki World Superbike, it was our duty to share. JR secured a victory just last Saturday in Portimao, and there’s also a lap of teammate Sam Lowes from Jerez.
The Insta persons had an ulterior motive, though, wanting us to announce:
Insta360 Named Exclusive Action Camera of Kawasaki Racing Team for WorldSBK 2022 Season
Insta360 has been named a Sportive and Title Race Partner for the Kawasaki Racing Team for the WorldSBK 2022 season. As the exclusive action cameras for the season, Insta360 cameras will capture thrilling footage of the road racing championship for fans around the world. The Kawasaki team is the premiere Superbike squad in the world, winning seven of the last nine World Championships. Jonathan Rea, six-time WorldSBK champion, and Alex Lowes, are the team riders for the 2022 season. In the opening round of the season this past weekend at Motorland Aragon, Rea took his KRT Ninja ZX-10RR to victory in the Saturday race and secured second place in both the Superpole Race and Race Two on Sunday.
