Harley-Davidson Announces 2018 American Flat Track Factory Team
There’s a lot of anticipation and buzz surrounding this year’s 2018 American Flat Track season. Last year provided some of the best racing the sport has ever seen with Indian reigning over Harley-Davidson in the end. To put that in perspective, the Indian FTR750Â accounted for 37 of the available 54 podium spots in 2017 (with six podium sweeps), and won 14 of the 18 races. Do you really think The Motor Company is going to let that happen and not fight back" We’d like to think, of course not. Maybe it’s the kick in the ass Harley-Davidson needed to come back swinging in 2018. Though, only the racing will tell.
Harley-Davidson has just announced their 2018 American Flat Track Factory Team comprised of veterans Sammy Habert and Brandon Robinson, and young up-and-comer Jarod Vanderkooi. They each placed fourth, seventh and ninth, respectively, in the overall season point standings in 2017 which means all three should be knocking at the podium’s door this year.
