Dainese and AGV Are Official Partners of the Sky Racing Team VR46 for 2018

Valentino Rossi has ridden his entire career wearing Dainese and AGV. The Sky Racing Team VR46 has just partnered with Dainese and AGV for a fifth consecutive year. Team riders across all levels of Grand Prix racing will be outfitted in Dainese’s D-air airbag system and the AGV Pista GP R helmet.

February 8, 2018 ? For the fifth consecutive year, the Sky Racing Team VR46 has selected Dainese and AGV as its official partners for the 2018 motorcycle GP racing season, set to get underway on March 18 with the Qatar Grand Prix. In line with its mission to promote and ensure safety in dynamic sports, Dainese and AGV will support the young Italian riders Francesco Bagnaia, Luca Marini, Nicolò Bulega and Dennis Foggia competing in the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships, offering them head-to-toe safety systems, just as they have done for Valentino Rossi for more than 20 years.
The Sky Racing Team VR46 riders will take to the track protected by D-air®, the Dainese branded airbag system that constitutes state-of-the-art protective technology, the first used in the world championship back in 2007.
Thanks to its electronic platform and algorithm, the true brain and intelligence of the system, D-air® is able to identify dangerous situations and decide whether or not to initiate activation should there be a high-side or low-side.
