Ducati flat tracker by Fuller Moto The American Flat Track series has already reignited a century-old feud between Indian and Harley-Davidson. Now it seems the American stalwarts will have a couple of purpose-built Italians nipping at their swingarms too, courtesy of Bryan Fuller.
Working with Lloyd Brothers Motorsports, Fuller designed an all-new chassis to replace the Scrambler Ducati-based units the Duc Team were running previously. The development involved fabrication of an all-new jig, to enable Fuller?s team to meet the demands of a notoriously aggressive racing series. Of course, the advantage of having a jig at your disposal is the ability to crank out a couple of extra frames for other purposes…
Which is exactly what Fuller Moto have done with this Limited Edition Pro Street tracker, which is essentially the Lloyd Brothers race bike with lights. Power comes from Ducati?s air-cooled 796cc L-Twin motor?which also powers the Scrambler line and the Monster 796?but really that?s the only Bologna-based component left. Forks are Öhlins inverted units with race-ready TTX cartridges, held in place by a set of Attack Performance triples. Out back the revised civilian swingarm is kept planted via a unique Fox Shox unit, and the matching 19-inch Dubya wheels are shod ...
