BMW announced a new Connectivity option for the R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure. The option includes a 6.5-inch TFT display that can connect with smartphones and BMW’s helmet communication system via Bluetooth. R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure models will receive the Connectivity Option by August. BMW says it will eventually be offered for other models in the future.

When developing the new TFT display, the BMW Motorrad engineers placed a major focus on designing all the rider interaction activities so as to keep rider distraction to an absolute minimum.
