2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro in Sand.
After the launch of the Multistrada 1260 last year, we knew it was coming. And now it’s here, the 2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro.
With its X-Diavel-derived 1,262cc Testastretta 90-degree DVT L-twin that sent 140.2 horsepower and 85.5 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel on Jett Tuning’s dyno when we tested it last year, this new Enduro promises superhuman levels of dirty fun, now in a more user-friendly package.
The biggest news is of course the engine, but the new Enduro also gets a smoother throttle response with tweaked riding modes and a new six-axis Bosch IMU. The 5-inch full-color TFT display is the same as that used on the standard Multistrada 1260, and it mates with your phone via Bluetooth for multimedia functions, phone calls and texts, and to access the new Ducati Link App. The new app allows users to customize ride modes with parameters like ABS and traction control levels, provides maintenance info, a user manual and Ducati dealer location info, and can track and record ride data users can share with their friends.
More good news is the revised ergonomics, which includes a lower seat height, handlebar and center of gravity, all contributing to a more confident off-road experience.
