Peter Hickman has won his first TT, out-dueling Michael Dunlop with the help of a record final lap average speed of 134.403 mph to win the Superstock TT.
The race started with Dean Harrison in the lead with Dunlop chasing and Hickman off to a relatively slow start back in tenth. Hickman soon made up time and the race turned into a three-way battle. The three riders traded the lead through the race until the final lap.

By then, Harrison had started to fade falling five seconds back, while Hickman and Dunlop were separated by just 0.5 seconds. On that final circuit, Hickman laid down the new Superstock lap record to secure the win.
